It was found that without considering a false positive on tests for ZIKV on mothers there seems to be a statistical significance on ZIKV to cause Microcephaly in infants with a probability of . It was also shown that without knowing the confidence of the false positive tests of ZIKV it is not possible to statistically assert that this significance is true. It is proposed that to be able to discard the hypothesis of ZIKV not to cause the disease it is necessary to have a 30% of confidence in the ZIKV test.
