Abstract
In a recent manuscript [18], Yang and colleagues criticized our paper, ‘Limitations of GCTA as a solution to the missing heritability problem’ [9]. Henceforth we refer to our original paper as SK and the critique as YC.
Here we show that their main claims are statistically invalid. We begin with an overview and the mathematical details follow in subsequent sections.
